Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Arclo ("Arclo," "we," "us") builds your training schedule around your real life. This policy explains what information the Arclo mobile app collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We aim to collect only what we need to make the app work for you.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and, where available, your name. You can also use the app as a guest without an account.
- Fitness & profile data. Goals, training experience, availability (work, school, sleep, and off-days), scheduled and completed workouts, and the feedback you give on sessions.
- Body measurements. Bodyweight and measurement history you choose to log.
- Progress photos (optional). If you attach photos to your measurements, they are stored privately to your account. You can delete them at any time.
Information accessed on your device
- Calendar. With your permission, Arclo reads your calendar's busy times to schedule
workouts around your commitments, and — only if you turn it on — adds the workouts you schedule to
your calendar. If you connect Google Calendar, Arclo requests the
calendar.eventspermission for this; your Google authorization is stored securely server-side and removed when you disconnect or delete your account. Calendar data is used only to schedule your training and is never sold or used for advertising. - Notifications. With your permission, Arclo sends pre-workout reminders and retention nudges. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
Information collected automatically (only if enabled)
- Analytics. If product analytics are enabled in a given build, we collect anonymized usage events (for example, screens viewed and features used) to understand and improve the app.
- Crash & diagnostic data. If crash reporting is enabled in a given build, we collect crash logs and basic device/diagnostic information to fix problems.
2. How we use your information
- Generate and adapt your personalized training plan.
- Schedule workouts around your availability and reschedule when you miss or struggle with sessions.
- Track your progress, measurements, and trends over time.
- Send workout reminders and relevant notifications.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. How your information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run Arclo, and only as needed:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Secure cloud database and authentication that stores your account and app data. |
| Apple / Google | Sign-in (authentication) when you choose those options. |
| Expo Push / APNs / FCM | Delivery of the notifications you opt into. |
| Analytics & crash-reporting providers (if enabled) | Aggregate usage insights and crash diagnostics to improve the app. |
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Arclo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data
Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Arclo accesses Google Calendar (the
calendar.events scope) only to read your events' times so it can schedule workouts around them
and, when you opt in, to add your scheduled workouts to your calendar. We do not use Google user data for
advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide
these features or as required by law. Humans do not read your Google Calendar data.
4. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with our cloud provider under access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your rights & choices
- Delete your account and data. In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This removes your account and associated personal data. You may also email us to request deletion.
- Access & correction. You can view and update much of your data directly in the app, or contact us for help.
- Permissions. You can revoke calendar, notification, and photo permissions at any time in your device settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Contact us to exercise them.
7. Children's privacy
Arclo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at fittempo.app@gmail.com.
